Is your studio overwhelmed with work.? Do you need to get those proofs ready for viewing or those portraits retouched and ready for printing? We can help you. Use us just once or hire us as a subcontractor, your choice.
We will develop a plan outlining your desires, preferences and special needs, so you always get exactly what you want. We can even send your order to the lab, so all you do is send it to us and then get it back completed from your lab. We take care of all the details in between... the retouching, resizing, design work and ordering.

Quality Control
1. FROM SESSIONS: Send us all of your portraits directly from the session and we will narrow the choices to 30 (or another amount that you suggest) for your clients to see. This way they have a nice selection to see, that have been retouched, without being overwhelmed with alot of duplicates.
2. FROM WEDDINGS & EVENTS: Send all of the proofs and how many hours you were at the event and we will narrow the choices down to 50 per hour so your guest won't be overwhelmed. Then we will provide basic retouching to all of the portraits your clients do see and help you improve your image and your sales.
Preparing Proofs
Your clients will have a hard time imagining their portraits looking their best if the proofs they see are substandard. Our goal is to get your proofs as close to the final product as possible so your clients will see what their portraits will really look like and we can provide this service FAST. Just let us know ahead of time and we will be standing by, waiting for the proofs to come in so we can process them and get ready for your viewing asap! Here are the standard services we provide when Preparing Proofs.
1. Manually adding layers with softeners or vignettes. Manual adjustment is important because we are able to make sure the vignette fits your portrait exactly.
2. Manual adjustment of the contrast, brightness and color - for the best printing results.
3. Manual re-cropping in order to ensure nothing is in the proof that shouldn't be.
Custom Retouching... before printing...
1. Removal or addition of people, backgrounds or other objects.
2. Fixing hair, teeth, braces, softening skin, etc...

4. Although we are not a lab and do not print your portraits, we can send your order to the lab or send it back to you so you can control the printing from start to finish.
Here is just one example of Preparing Proofs:
The first photo is the original file. Notice how it is dark, the subject is far away and the dimensions are not compatible with the normal sizes of 8x10, 16x20, 20x24, etc... The color is also very cool and the lighting on the face is too dark.
We have lighten the portrait and the face, adjusted the color and the cropping and have a much more attractive portrait, one the client can easily see and know how great it will look on display in their home. They don't have to second guess how it will look and the retouched image will give you a much more professional appearance.
